Welcome to Dioko.
Dioko is our ministry for high school students. It is the Greek word for pursue, and our high school program is designed to equip students to pursue an authentic relationship with God and others. As with all our Student Ministry programs, our mission is to nurture and launch mature followers of Jesus Christ by equipping student to pursue God, connect with the church, and engage the world. Below is an overview of our programs.
Dioko Sunday Night Program
Our Sunday Night Program is a big group gathering for 9th-12th grade students that provides an interactive experience with Jesus Christ through music, prayer, teaching, and fellowship. Dioko meets Sunday nights 6:30pm-8:00pm in the Powdersville High School cafeteria except for the 1st Sunday of the month.
Dioko Small Groups
We believe that life change happens best in the context of community. For this reason, we desire for all of our students to be actively involved in a small group. Small groups are divided up by grade and gender and allow our students to experience the process of discipleship first hand as they build relationships with others their age and are poured into by their small group leader. Each small group goes through an age-appropriate Biblically based curriculum.
